Brumfiel, Oscar Marion May 24, 1917 - April 11, 2015, of Bloomington, MN. Born in Knoxville, TN. One of four children born to Ozro and Orpha Brumfiel. Attended U of TN, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Mechanical Engineering. Honored ROTC graduate. Commissioned officer, US Army in WWII & Korean War. Ret. Lt. Colonel, Corps of Engineers, in 1960. Known as "Brum" to his friends. In 1943 he married his college sweetheart, Julia Lawrence, who preceded him in death August 2010. Left to share wonderful memories are his son and wife, Brad and Mary Brumfiel; daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Richard Kuyath; granddaughters, Jenny Droz (Ken) and Julie Benirschke (Robert); grandsons, Brian (Irena), Brad, and Matthew Kuyath; three great-grandchildren, Josie and Grayson Droz and Hailey Benirschke.
