Mosow, Marcella (Marci) Passed gracefully into God's arms March 25th. She was born January 20, 1917 to Russian immigrants - Abraham and Rose Levich – in Sioux City, Iowa. It was there she met Larry Mosow, whom she married on September 13, 1937. Marci and Larry lived in Arizona, Wyoming and Colorado before settling in Minneapolis in 1955, where Marci worked for the Star Tribune and as a model, actress, artist and author. Marci was, and will remain, an inspiration to her family and many friends. She was beautiful, talented, kind and wise. She embraced all people, judged none and opened her heart and home to many. She was genteel, strong, and faithful to those she loved. She had a song for every occasion and enjoyed regaling listeners with her many jokes. An actress with local theater companies including Theatre de La Jeune Lune and a ‘dead-on' Jimmy Durante impersonator, Marci brought down the house whenever she stepped onto the stage. Her classic beauty made her a modeling-agency favorite for both print and billboard advertising. Marci was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her dear brother Alfred Levich and her niece Mary Lou Levich. She is survived by her son, Steve Mosow and his fiancée, Barbara McGraw, Eden Prairie; daughter, Lonna Mosow, Minnetonka; dear friends, Petra Marquart, Minnetonka and Eve Mosow, Bloomington. In addition, she is survived by granddaughter, Amy Morris (Hugh), Minneapolis and grandson, Doug Mosow (Amy), Denver. She leaves behind four great-grandchildren - William and Jack Mosow and Quinn and Charlotte Morris. Marci's final gift was her memoirs, "Life is Just a Bowl of Cherries." She closed with these words of advice: "See your dentist twice a year, get some rest, everything will work out one way or another, have hope. P.S. I wonder what it's like in Paris!" Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 11:00 a.m. at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, MN. Shiva will be held at 7:00 p.m. at The Colony at 431 Prairie Center Drive, Eden Prairie. Memorials preferred to N. C. Little Memorial Hospice, 7019 Lynmar Lane, Edina, 55435. The family expresses gratitude to caregivers from The Colony, Park Nicollet Home Health Care and N. C. Little Memorial Hospice who preserved Marci's dignity and grace in her final days.
