Johnston, Paul Gowan May 7, 1928 - Mar. 25, 2015 Paul, age 86 of Minneapolis, died of complications of Alzheimer's, at the Minnesota Veteran's Home where he lived for over two years. Paul was a United States Marine, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He is survived by his spouse Barbara and six children: Taren (Carla), Scott, Jan, Kurt (Lily), Mary Jane, Elizabeth (Brian); granddaughters, Sitara, Addie and Carly and his sister, Margaret Broderick of Bloomington. Paul has moved to the front of the passing parade. He will be remembered for his wit and humor, a joke for any occasion, his love of animals, music, books, ice cream, and his family. Private interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Feline Rescue Inc., St. Paul, MN in Paul's name. A special thank you to the kind caregivers at the MN Veteran's Home and Allina Hospice.
