Mulvaney, Irene May Age 97 of Minnetonka. Our dear sweet mother and grandmother died Saturday, March 28, 2015. Born August 29, 1917 in Portage LaPrairie, Manitoba. Naturalized U.S. Citizen in February of 1944. Irene worked at the Western Union in Peoria, IL prior to becoming a full time mother upon her husband's return from military service during WWII. She was preceded in death by husband, W. Francis "Pete" Mulvaney and parents, William and Rosa Black. She is survived by her children, Roger (Delores), Michael (Carmen), Katherine Qualy (Rick), Colleen Weber (Chuck), and grandchildren, Kara Weber and Andrew Weber. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon Wednesday, April 1 at the Basilica of St. Mary, 88 N. 17th St, Minneapolis. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church.
