Person, Judson W. "Judd" Age 71, of Edina, MN died of accidental drowning March 14th while vacationing in Florida with his wife for their 37th wedding anniversary. Survived by his wife Laurel Sandberg; daughter Ann Person; sisters Margaret Person and Karen Hosch (Greg); nephew Larry Hosch (Holly); brother-in-law Steven Sandberg (Elaine); nephew Daniel Sandberg; niece Jill Sandberg (Rhonda Kaminsky); and grand nephews Garrett Hosch, Gavin Hosch, and Justin Sandberg. He was preceded in death by his parents Alice (nee Johnson) and Wallace Person. Judd's childhood was spent in Minneapolis, MN and Miami, Florida. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Texas and Germany in military intelligence. Judd had a long and active career in the field of information technology. He fully retired only in January of this year as a consultant project manager. Judd actively pursued his hobbies of woodworking, walking, and biking. He had a strong interest in the environment and sustainable energy resources. Judd loved his life as a devoted husband and father, active professional man, and engaged friend. He was deeply loved by his family and was on good terms with those he loved at his passing. Family and friends will be invited to attend a celebration of his life at a later date.
