Woodfill, Anne Age 92. Anne Eloise (Shockley) Woodfill, born in Roanoke, VA, to Cecil and Virginia Louisa (Weber) Shockley on Nov. 9, 1922. Completed nurses training and met Navy sailor Ernest L. Woodfill. Married Dec. 20, 1944, in Newport Beach, VA; celebrated their 70th anniversary last year with family and friends. Built a home and raised their family in Columbia Heights, MN. She died at home surrounded by hundreds of teddy bears on Mar. 25, 2015. Anne was feisty and organized. Remembered as a nurse at many Twin City hospitals and Camp Ajawah, "Annie Your Tour Guide" on family vacations, Girl Scout leader and council board, master rose gardener, square dancer, world traveler, teddy bear collector, member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and Ernie's anchor. Survivors: husband Ernest, children Leanne, Casper, WY; Janel, Afton, MN; Daniel, Isanti, MN; LeRoy, Cleveland, WI; Mary Jo, Werribee, Australia. Memorial service at 2 pm on Sat., Mar. 28, 2015 at Washburn-McReavy Columbia Heights Chapel. Inurnment of ashes at Fort Snelling National Cemetery later.
