Arnsdorf, Betty (nee Ahlberg) Betty Florence Arnsdorf (82) of Monticello, MN passed away on March 20, 2015. Betty was born in Minneapolis to Stanley and Angeline Ahlberg on January 21, 1933. She went to Marshall University High School, where she met her husband, Donly (died June 2014). They were married for 64 years. Betty worked her entire life as a billing clerk at various trucking companies, and finished her career as a legal secretary for Pillsbury Co. in downtown Minneapolis. She was an accomplished cook, knitter, sewer and Bridge player. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Donly Arnsdorf. Betty is survived by four daughters, Lynn Arnsdorf, Robyn (Jean) Kroeger, Cynthia (Fazil) Bhimani and Lyla (Kenneth) Aaland; her brother, Carl (Mary) Ahlberg; and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as her dear friend, Angie Sangster. Per Betty's request, there will be no reviewal or funeral. Arrangements are with the Cremation Society of Minnesota. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the Cottagewood Senior Community in Buffalo, MN and the Meeker County Hospital in Litchfield for their kind and loving support for Betty in her final days. Betty was a member of Martha Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Anoka, MN. She is a Past Worthy Matron of University Chapter of OES in Minneapolis.
