Lucille Breid

Breid Lucille, age 83, of Wadena, died July 21, at the Fair Oaks Lodge in Wadena. On Feb. 24, 1946, she was united in marriage to Eugene Breid of Wadena. In Jan. of 1947, they moved to St. Paul where her husband graduated from St. Paul Bible College in 1950. They moved to Idaho and to Wamie, Oregon serving under Village Missions. They served under the Christian & Missionary Alliance in Oregon and Washington until Aug. 1970, they moved back to Minneapolis. She worked for the Billy Graham Assoc. for 4 years. They served pastorates in Amery, Wisconsin and Hope Chapel, rural Verndale, Minnesota until they retired and moved to Wadena. She is survived by her 2 children; daughter, Donna Snodgrass of Eugene, OR and son, David of Edina; 4 grandchildren; brother, Donald Goldsmith of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers, Harvey, Richard & Vernell (Goldy). Funeral service will be on July 25 at 1:30 PM at the Wadena Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. Friends may call Thursday at the Bielema Family Funeral Home in Wadena 5-8 PM, with prayer service at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials.
