Cain Carlin "Carl" D. Cain, loving husband of Judy Cain of Isle, went home to be with his Lord on July 19, 2003, surrounded by his family at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. Carl died while doing what he loved - flying his airplane. Carl was born July 17, 1934 in his family farmhouse in rural Amery, Wisconsin. He lived for many years in Columbia Heights where he raised 3 children; daughters, Angela (Galen) Wax of Blaine and Natalie (Brad) Mayotte of Minneapolis, and son, Geoffrey Cain of Chaska. He was the stepfather of Eric Bentley of Superior, WI, LeAnn Liberator of Brooklyn Park, Aaron Bentley of Honolulu, HI and LaNita Robinson of Duluth. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Rachel, Joseph and Lucas Wax, Jarrid and Brad Mayotte, Ashley and Inga Bentley, Landon and Lane Liberator, and NeVina Robinson. Carl also precedes 10 of his 13 brothers and sisters in "being promoted" to Heaven, Orin, Orison (Carol), Melvin (Nancy), Dallas (Ann), Nina Reinhold (Paul), Violet Roberts (Rod), Miriam Strand (John), Oralee Bailey (Jack), Lynnette Cain and Lucy Cain. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends, especially those at Eastside Marina. A gathering of friends will be held at the Waite Park Wesleyan Church in Minneapolis (1510 33rd Ave NE, 612-781-7434) on Friday evening, July 25th from 7-9 PM. The other Memorial Service will be held at the Malmo Evangelical Free Church, north of Isle, on Saturday, July 26th at 1 PM.
