Susan L. Schroeder

Schroeder, Susan L. passed away on March 15, 2015 at Moravian Manor of Lititz, Pa., and has lived in Pennsylvania since 2007. She was 93 years old.Susan was the beloved wife of George H. Schroeder, who died in 1985. She has three children, Greg Schroeder (Pat) of Jensen Beach, FL, Sandra Bricker (Jeff) of Lititz, PA, and Donna Swenson (Steve) of Eau Claire, WI. Susan also has two grandchildren, Britta Endres (Mike) in Milwaukee, WI and Marine Sergeant Eric Swenson stationed at Cherry Point, NC, and two step-grand-children Rich and Kevin and six step-great-grandchildren. Susan is also survived by her brother Jack Jakupciak (Alice), and sisters Jeanne Friske (Al), Ann Olson, and Emily Johnson who has passed away, in the Minneapolis area. Susan was born in Czechoslovakia, and emigrated to the U.S with her parents when she was five years old. She grew up in Wayzata Minnesota, and attended the Minneapolis College of Business. After raising her children she worked as an executive secretary at Cargill, Inc.'s Executive Mansion in Wayzata retiring after 25 years of service. Susan and George's love of dancing, fishing, and gardening were favorite pastimes. Susan's parents were founding members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayzata Minnesota, where Susan was confirmed and married. After moving to a 55+ community in Plymouth, MN in 2002 she joined Glory of Christ Lutheran Church, also in Plymouth. Susan's surviving family members will miss her but they know that she is with Christ. The viewing, funeral and interment will be held at Glory of Christ Church on Hwys 101 and 55 in Plymouth, Mn. and Hillside Cemetery at 19th Ave. NE Minneapolis, Mn. on Monday, March 23, 2015.
