Donald J. Wittkop
Wittkop Donald J., age 50, of St. Paul. Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends on June 21 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by brother, Dennis. Survived by parents, Virgil & Pat Wittkop; brothers, Larry (Leah), Rocky (Pat), Mike (Valda) and Wayne (Eileen); sisters, Kathy (Mike), Karen (Ted) and Wanda (Eric); many nieces and nephews and good friends, Lyle Bruska and Maggie Lindorfer. Let us not cling to mourning, do not stand on my grave and weep. I am not there I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight opened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand on my grave and cry. I am not there I did not die.
