Patricia Marie (Pat or Patty) Ackerman

Ackerman Patricia (Pat or Patty) Marie Ackerman aka ``phoenixity'', 57, succumbed to severe pulmonary hypertension on 8 June 2002. She had other health problems and was a myelodysplasia survivor. She died where she wanted to be, in her dream home in Anacortes, WA, overlooking the San Juan Islands. Deeply loved by all who knew her. Her special talents in quilting, other sewing projects, cooking and caring were among her many attributes. Survived by her mother, Violet Prentiss; older brother, Bill; younger brother, David; her husband, Chuck; children, Steven, John & Cristine; daughters-in-law, Susan and Rossana; plus five grandchildren. Preceded in death by father, Alan, and beloved grandchild, Amanda. Member of Westminister Presbyterian Church of Anacortes, where there was a wonderful memorial service on 13 June. Another service will be held in Minnesota during July or August. Call Chuck at 651-777-0693 after 8 July for time and place.
