Gail Hurst

Hurst Gail Hurst, age 95, of Minneapolis, MN, died Thursday, June 6, 202 at St. Anthony Health Center. Graveside service was at 3:00 PM Friday, June 7, 2002 at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, MN. Gail Hurst, daughter of George and Abigail (Linn) Hurst was born January 2, 1907 in Glenwood, MN. She grew up in Glenwood and graduated from the Glenwood High School in 1926. Gail attended the St. Cloud Teachers College for two years and taught in several country schools. She acquired a degree at the University of MN and taught second grade in St. Paul, MN until her retirement in 1973. Gail continued living in the St. Paul area. She is survived by her brother, Lynn Hurst of St. Paul, MN; and nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; & sister, Florence Hurst.
