Ruth M. Davidson

Davidson Ruth M., age 83, resident of Mpls and Phoenix. Born June 17, 1918 in West Virginia, daughter of Minnie & Sam Caldwell, wife of the former president of Oildyne, Inc of Mpls. Member of Golden Valley Country Club and Moon Valley Country Club, Phoenix. Ruth graduated from Steubenville Business College with honors. She was former secretary to Governor Rhodes of Ohio, treasurer of State of Wisc. Women's Golf Association, and worked for the Atomic Energy Commission in Dayton, Ohio during WW II. Survived by husband, Wendell; daughter, Jean Salzman & husband Bert, Sonoma, CA; sons, Robert & wife Sheila, Maple Grove, David & wife Patricia, Mpls; grandchildren, Wendy Ann, Dwayne, Denise, Kevin and Kellie. Funeral service Thursday 12 Noon, Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave S. Visitation Wednesday 5-7 pm, Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. & Vernon Ave. at Hwy. 100, Edina.
