Stannard, Dorothy M. (NEE Sipe) of Hopkins and Sugar Lake. Preceded in death by husband, Paul Stannard; parents, Howard & Ester Sipe; and great-granddaughter, Ava Babler. Survived by daughter, Kathy (Greg) Suddendorf of Excelsior; son, Mike Stannard of Chanhassen; granddaughters, Patty (Mike) Babler, Mary & Anne Suddendorf, and Ashley Stannard; great-granddaughter, Maggie Babler. Dorothy was the proprietor of the Minnetonka Mist Restaurant in Spring Park for over 35 years. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005 at 2 PM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 6 Interlachen Road, Hopkins, 55343 (952-935-5536). Visitation also Wednesday 2 hours prior to the service at the Church. Private family interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
