Regina A. Kalis

Kalis Regina A., born Feb. 7, 1917 in Bellfield, ND to Susan (Kremer) and Nicholas Weiler. She grew up in St. Cloud. She married Sebastian Illies. They had four children. She married Leo Kalis. There were two stepchildren in that marriage. Survivors include daughters, Joanne (Eugene) Martinson, Judith (Charles) Glander, Kathleen (Joe) Thornton; and son, Ronald Illies; stepdaughter, Ione (Harold) Swanson of; stepson, Ron (Barb) Kalis; brothers, Norbert, Don (Ruth), Len (Gen) Weiler; 9 grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands; brother, Raymond; sisters, Theresa and Bertha Koukol; great-granddaughter, Sunshine (Adams) Schmitz; and sons-in- law, Joseph Adams and Dale Compton. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 12 Noon at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 1740 NE Bunker Lake Blvd., Ham Lake. Visitation one hour prior at church. Interment Morningside Cemetery.
