Diedrich, John Francis age 86, of West St. Paul, died on December 1, 2005. Preceded in death by father, Leonard; mother, Laura; sister, Lucile; brothers, Albert, Gordon, Robert; grandson, Garrett. Survived by wife of 59 years, Marcelle; daughters, Betsy Drager, Mary Diedrich (Fred Farthing), Laura Diedrich (Steve "Frenchie" Wilson), Maggie Hein (Bill), Sara Diedrich (Randy Eaton); sons, John Jr. (Sharon), Tom (Lori Dorfman), Bill, Rich, Bob (Pat), Steve (Pamela); grandchildren, Eric, Janey, Jenny, Jeremy, Sam, Will, Ellen, Alex, Molly, Abby, Zachary, Maximus, Gustave; great-grandchild, Dominic; sister, Carmen Schmidt and brother, Jim (Annetta); numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Veteran of WWII and Korean conflict. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, December 6, 10:30 am, Church of St. Joseph, 1154 Seminole Ave. at Butler, W. St. Paul. Private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 5-8 pm at West Funeral Home, 1051 S. Robert St. at Arion, W. St. Paul and one hour before Mass Tuesday at church.
