Glickson (Halper) Dorothy, age 83, of St. Paul's West Side's famed Hoffman clan, died peacefully Friday night. Preceded in death by husbands, Ace Halper and David Glickson. Survived by daughter, Lin Rockler; son and daughter-in-law, Andy & Judy Halper; step-children, Irene Rossman, Jeannie & Ken Blum and Jim & Andrea Glickson. Grandchildren, Naomi Rockler & Dan Gladen, Alece Rockler, Sarah Rossman, Abby & Mollie Halper, Tommy & Elizabeth Glickson; and brothers, John and Morrie Hoffman. A beautiful and ultimately charming woman, Dorothy made friends wherever she went. But it was the Hoffman family that was the essence of her soul. Brothers, Nate, Bill, John & Morrie Hoffman; sisters, Ann Soloman, Elizabeth Feinberg and Rose Levine all had a mighty bond that was unsurpassable in devotion and care. Dorothy's sparkle with her grandchildren, nephews and nieces is legendary, as is her lifelong friendship with the Trypoleans and many others. Dorothy will be remembered and dearly missed.
