Zimmer, Lydia M. age 96, of Shakopee. Died Nov. 1, 2005. Preceded in death by husband, Erwin in 1975. Survived by son, Erwin (Gail) of Apple Valley; daughter, Jeannie (Tony) Dircks of Sun City, AZ; grandchildren, Theresa (Tom) Lydon, Susan (Bruce) DeWenter, Christine (Jim) Lonetti, Sandy (Karl) Vigen, Erwin (Janet) Zimmer, Terry (Peggy) Zimmer; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Derek, Josie, Olivia, Dominic, Lydia, Rachel, Zeb, Senia, Max, Ellen, and Mary. Lydia was a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital for over 40 years. A warm, kind, caring mother & grandmother with a terrific sense of humor who loved quilting, reading, playing cards, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family & friends. Member of St. Mark's Altar & Rosary Society & Christian Mothers. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Fri., Dec. 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 535 S. Lewis St., Shakopee.
