Saul, William James William J. "Bill" Saul, 78, of St. Paul, passed away on Sunday evening, March 1. Born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, Bill attended Cretin High School, and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He spent the majority of his business career as president and chairman of the board of Remmele Engineering, Inc. Over the years, he served terms as president of the National Tooling and Machining Association, the Association of Manufacturing Tech-nology, and the Minnesota Associa- tion of Commerce and Industry. He found great satisfaction being involved with the President's Council of Cretin Derham Hall and many other boards and organizations. Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha (Remmele), his daughters, Shannon (Thayne) Emrich, Ellen Saul, Elizabeth (Paul Erickson), Deborah, Mary (Wim Crabbe); grandchildren, T.J. (Katie) Walsh, Lindsay (Brad) Norton, Isabelle Saul Hughes, Sam Erickson, Ian Erickson, Willem Crabbe, Eve Crabbe, Ingrid Crabbe, Max (Jordan) Emrich, Noah Emrich, Rory Emrich, Christian Emrich; great granddaughters, Lyla and Charlotte Walsh; sister-in-law, Betsy Saul; nieces, Candace Saul and Heidi Ciardo; nephews, Timothy and Todd Saul, James and Matthew Kortz; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and Chuck Jungmann; other nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred, and may be sent to: Cretin Derham Hall, Church of the Assumption, St. Paul, or donor's choice. Visitation will be at Church of the Assumption, 51 - 7th St. W., St.Paul, Thursday, March 5th, 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Roseville Memorial Chapel 651-631-2727
