Survived by a daughter, Lynn (Stephen) Higgins of Loretto; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Newton of Wabasha; grandchildren, James (Natassa) Higgins, Susie (Dan) Brun, Michelle (Denis) Zilmer, Michael (Beth) Higgins, Matthew Higgins, Daniel (Jenny) Higgins, Joseph (Katie) Higgins & Andrew Higgins; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Gisselman and Sheila Vogland; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene Newton; son, Eugene ``Skipper'' Newton; parents; sister & brothers, Rachel, Henry & Alvin Gisselman and sisters-in-law Lucille Swanson & Patience Newton.
