Peggy Martinson

Martinson Peggy (nee Margaret Ann Halstead), age 65, died 6/2/03 at Holiday Island, AR, formerly of Fridley, MN. Born 9/6/37 in Grove Lake, MN, to Ralph and Helen Halstead. Preceded in death by father, Ralph and sister, Patricia Invie. Survived by husband, Curt of Holiday Island, AR; daughter, Wendy (Blossom) and grandson, Tom of Shoreview, MN, and son, Brian, his wife Melissa Partin, and granddaughter Ellie of St. Paul, MN. Also survived by mother, Helen; sisters, Barb Halstead, Judy (Gary) Stivland), and Sue Halstead; brother, Dean Halstead, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, neices, and nephews. A graduate of Glenwood High, Abbott School of Nursing, and University of Minnesota School of Nursing, she worked as a nurse in Minnesota, Virginia, and as Administrator of Cancer Programs at Methodist Hospital before retiring. She continued to work as a nurse in Arkansas part-time. Memorial service on 7/27 at Peace United Methodist Church in North Oaks, MN, beginning at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations encouraged to Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, or charity of your choice.
