Berger, Mary K. 76, of Independence, IA and formerly of the Minneapolis, MN area, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at her home in Independence. She is survived by her husband George; five children, Mona Schmidt, Blaine, MN, Jim (Jill) Morris, Ramsey, MN, Dave Berger, Golden Valley, MN, Steve Berger, Independence, IA, Brian Berger, Ramsey, MN; nine grandchildren, five great-grand-children; two brothers, Kenny Krattenmaker, Independence, IA, Robert Krattenmaker, Brainerd, MN; and a sister, Margie Beyer, Chanhassen, MN. Memorial services: 1 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel at Historic Ft. Snelling, 200 Tower Ave, St Paul, MN. Inurnment to follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
