Nickolas J. Leszko, Sr.

Leszko, Nickolas J., Sr. Born November 12, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. Passed away peacefully at home in Brooklyn Park on February 25, 2015. Nick was a Navy veteran who met his wife when both were civil service employees at Great Lakes Naval Station. He learned computer programming at Sperry Rand working on UNIVAC computers, transferred to Minnesota in 1965 and retired from Unisys after a long career. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Nicollet Assembly 526. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Santina and parents Mary and Nick Leszko. Survived by children Susan (Stephen Fautsch), Nickolas Jr. (Meg), John (Andrea); grandchildren David (Shaina) and Matthew Fautsch, Peter (fiancee Andrea Corradi), Steven and Michael Leszko, Mia, Ali and Drew Leszko. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal. Lunch to follow Mass at the church.
