Mayo Gerald S. Mayo Memorial Service A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 17 at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5730 Grove St., Edina for Gerald S. Mayo, formerly of Edina. Jerry died at home in Alexandria VA on April 1, 2003. Veteran of World War II. Long-time employee of Hardware Mutual (Sentry Life). Retired in 1983 from Gresen Manufacturing Co. Community service included Girl Scouts Advisory Board, State Board of Education, and United Way Allocation Panel. Active in Administrative Management Society: president of the Minneapolis chapter and chair of 1965 International Conference. Preceded in death by Mary-Louise, his wife of 44 years. Survived by Claride, his wife of 17 years; sons: John (Sylvia), Tony (Holly), and Douglas (Susan); stepsons: Stefan (Nancy), Mark (Vera), and David Walters; and ten grandchildren.
