Wise, Marilyn B. age 84, died on February 23, 2015 in her home surrounded by her children. Preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, her parents, a brother, and her grandson, Nicholas. Marilyn Bumgarner Wise was born in Pittsburg, Kansas in 1930. She was born to parents James and Mary Bumgarner of Independence, Kansas. Married to Richard S. Wise in 1952 after graduation from Kansas State University. Marilyn taught school in several states and retired from Highview Junior High in New Brighton, MN in 1989. After retirement she received training for Stephen Ministry in San Antonio, Texas and started training classes in Faith Methodist Church in St. Anthony Village. Marilyn is survived by children, Paul (Marianna), Kathleen (Bernard), Carol and Rebecca (Jeff); and grandchildren, Jamie, Patrick, Ted, Ben, Alisha and Nathan; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Huggins. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, Feb 28 with visitation one hour prior at Faith UMC, 2708 - 33rd Ave. NE, St. Anthony, MN. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, St. Anthony, MN.
