Karen F. Thorkildson

Thorkildson Karen F. Thorkildson, 63, of Glendale, AZ passed away July 6, 2003. She was born Oct. 26, 1939 in Mpls, MN. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She is survived her two sons, Scott & Amy with granddaughter Carly of Oregon, David & Christine with granddaughter Tania of Italy; and daughter, Stacy & Dana of Phoenix, AZ. Karen also is survived by one sister, Cleone Williams and father Raymond Overson of Mora, MN. Karen will always be remembered for her selfless generosity, her zest for life and her never ending positive outlook. We will miss the light of her presence and feel the empty void her leaving has left, yet we are secure in the knowledge that she is now with her Lord and her late husband, Lynn. Memorial Services will be held at 9:00 AM at the Community Church of Joy, 21000 N. 75th Ave., Glendale, Saturday, July 12th. Memorial contributions may be made in Karen's name to the Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S., Mpls., MN 55409.
