Genevieve Mary (Lenz) Boswinkel

Boswinkel (Lenz) Genevieve Mary, age 93, of Minnetonka Beach, passed away July 2, 2003, born February 4, 1910 in Adrian, Minnesota to Mary Felecia (Molly) Murphy Lenz and Joseph Lenz. Married Jan Pieter Boswinkel on June 22, 1944 in Manchester, England. Served in the Army of the United States as a First Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps from June 11, 1942 to December 6, 1945 as a Nurse Anesthetist. Decorated with the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon. Prior to the Army, she worked in a TB sanitorium in Auburn, CA. Member of League of Women Voters. Dearly missed by husband, Jan; beloved mother of Janet Ann Boswinkel Dahlen and husband Kent, Neal John Boswinkel and wife Kris; grandchildren, Meagan and Ryan Dahlen. Memorial Service Saturday 11 am at St. Martin's By-the-Lake Episcopal Church, County Road 15 and Westwood Road, Minnetonka Beach. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling Cemetery at a later time.
