Rev. Dr. Eugene C. Kreider

Kreider Rev. Dr. Eugene C., age 71, of St. Paul. Professor Emeritus of Christian Education and Pastoral Care at Luther Seminary. Received the Samuel Scheiners Human Relations Award from the Anti-Defamation League of Minnesota and the Dakotas for his work in Jewish-Christian dialogue. Spent three summers at the Christian Kibbutz in Israel and went to Zimbabwe, Africa to help a student with his doctoral dissertation. Survived by wife, Lois; son, Clark & his wife Janet; granddaughter, Nicole; sisters, Marilyn Gulliford and Helen Walker; a niece and 2 nephews. Memorial service 1 pm Thursday, June 6 at Chapel of the Cross, Northwestern Hall at Luther Seminary, 1501 Fulham St., St. Paul. Memorials preferred to Luther Seminary Student Scholarship Fund.
