David R. Andersen

Andersen David R., age 64, died of complications from diabetes on January 25, 2002. Born on March 6, 1937 in Duluth, MN, Dave grew up in St. Louis Park, MN, graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1955 and attended Augsburg College. He married Shelley Heimdahl of St. Louis Park in 1957, raised his family in Monticello, MN and worked in the toy business for 38 years. He was a loving father and family man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, bulldogs, and making people laugh. Survived by his father, Louis Andersen of Golden Valley, MN; brother, Don Andersen and wife Diane of Eden Prairie, MN; four sons, Joel Andersen and his wife Dani of Becker, MN, Jon Andersen and his wife Beth of Walker, MN, Mike Andersen of Gooding, Idaho, and Matt Andersen of Monticello, MN; grandchildren, Taylor and Logan Andersen of Becker, MN; Jennifer and Jared Andersen of Walker, MN; and Tadashi Andersen of Gooding, Idaho. Preceded in death by mother, Margaret Andersen. Memorial service Friday, June 7 at 2:00 pm in Buffalo, MN at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hwy. 25 No. (763) 682-5612
