Edward Landes

Landes Edward, born June 6, 1919 & died Sept. 13, 2005. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Elizabeth. Survived by children, Edward R. (Nancy), James D. (Margaret) & Mary Ann Leng; grandchildren, Matt, David (Asa) & Sarah Landes and Holly & Meghan Leng; and great-grandson, Nils Landes. Graduate of Shattuck School, Faribault, MN & earned a B.A.A. from U of MN. Held various executive positions with IBM's Data Processing Division for over 42 years in Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE, Evanston, IL, New York, NY & Minneapolis. Upon retirement, became Director of Development for the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis. Active volunteer with: Boy Scouts of Amer., Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Shattuck St. Mary's School, Junior Achievement, Rotary International, Minikahda Club, United Way & Shriner's. Memorial service: Fri., Sept. 16, 10 AM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 4439 W. 50th St., Edina. Private interment at Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater.
