O'Brien Robert D., age 88 of McAllen, TX, formerly of White Bear Lake, died June 24, 2003. He was a member of IUOE Local #49, K of C, VFW, and Elks. Preceded in death by daughter, Julie; and granddaughter, Mary Brigid. Survived by beloved wife of 69 years, Verna; children, Robert "Jerry" (Shirley), Juanita, Sharon, Beth Ellen, Michael (Sheila), Joseph, Stephen (May); 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson; brother, Joe; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
