Ruth L. Nelson

Nelson Ruth L., age 65, of Hibbing, formerly of Edina & Burnsville, passed away Monday, June 23, 2003 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 26, 1937 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Peder and Othilia (Nelson) Hauge. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Bruce; two children, Jeffrey (Susan) Nelson of Hibbing and Karin (Duane) Schumacher of St. Cloud; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Beata (Robert) Sorenson of Grand Marais. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation for Ruth will be held at 1 pm until the 2 pm funeral service on Saturday, June 28, 2003 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Hibbing. Pastor Jack Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing. Family services provided by Anderson-Daniels, a Bauman Family Funeral Home in Hibbing.
