Rossow Robert W. Rossow, age 88, of Chandler Place, St. Anthony, formerly of Richfield. Born 10-15-16 in Eau Claire, Wisc., passed away 9-9-05 of COPD. Preceded in death by parents, Edwin & Mildred; brother, Art; sister, Ruth; and loving wife of 66 years of marriage who he was a caregiver to her with Alzheimer's for 12 years before her death; and granddaughter, Gina Christine. Robert grew up on a farm, later went on to working Retail mgmt. and becoming a self-made business man. in his own accounting business for 27 years, which is now Rossow, Hockert & McGie, LLP. He was so proud to still have his name kept on the acct. business. His heart and soul went to the Hiawatha Lions Club, their Eye Bank & The Leader Dog project. He was a Lions District Gov. 81-82. He was involved in volunteer projects, & the Exchange Club. He loved and believed in the Lord and loved Oakland United Methodist. He was a very generous and outgoing person, and had many friends. Even though in his later years the COPD ruled his life, he thoroughly enjoyed his family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by daughters & son-in-law, Gayle Eisert, Sally & Charlie Hockert; grandchildren, Peter Eisert, Jennie Eisert, Wendi (Jeremy) Sroga, Angela (Justin) Martin, Scott Hockert; great grandchildren, Emily & Chloe Sroga, Connor & Owen Martin. Visitation Wednesday 9-14-05, 5-8 PM, Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S., Richfield. Funeral Service Thursday 9-15-05, 1 PM, Oakland United Methodist, 44th & Oakland Ave. S.
