Jean Erpelding

Erpelding Jean, age 78, of Elk River, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 23, 2003. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; sisters, Ardis Riopel and Lois Moss. Survived by her children, Richard, Robert (Sherri), both of the Twin Cities, Ronald of St. Augustine, FL and Bonnie (Harley) Thompson; grandchildren, Nikki, Gwen, Jesse, Bryan, Missy and Mandy; 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Ellen (Joe) Ahearn of Pensacola, FL; brother, Lee (Estelle) Roberts of Greenville, SC; sisters- in-law, Marge Fleischer, Carol (Jim) Ekman and brother-in-law, Loren Erpelding of Sitka, Alaska. Dedicated volunteer with the Elk River Library, Otsego Elementary School, Sherburne County Courthouse, Guardian Angels and Legion Club. Funeral service 11 AM Friday at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main Street, Elk River (763-441- 1212). Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to service Friday. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
