Mary K. (Kranz-Johnson) Eastes

Eastes (Kranz-Johnson) Mary K. Eastes, age 74, of St. Louis Park, passed on Friday, June 13. She is now free with God after a long illness. Mary K. had a ready smile and laugh. Her friends enjoyed being with her because she was such a vibrant, giving and caring person. She is survived by her husband, Jim Eastes, sister, Margaret Summers, brother, Bill Kranz, both of Golden Valley; along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and William Kranz, sister, Gerry Niziol, first husband, George O. Johnson. Prior to her illness, St. George's Episcopal Church always came first. She was active in the Zuhrah Shrine Women's Group and St. Louis Park Women's Club. She also belonged to Acacia Eastern Star Chapter. The family wishes to express their thanks to the many loving and caring people at the North Ridge Care Center, a Minnesota Masonic Home. Memorials may be given to St. George Episcopal Church or Alzheimer's Research. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 Thursday, June 19 at St. George's Episcopal Church, 5224 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park, 55416. (Highway 100 and Minnetonka Blvd.
