H. Jay Hermes

Hermes H. Jay, age 67, of Apple Valley, died June 13, 2003 from a sudden heart attack. Born April 23, 1936 in Mpls. 34-year career in the liquid propane industry. Preceded in death by parents, Harley & Ruth (Johnson) Hermes, and grandparents, Fred & Alice Hermes and Severren & Ida Grace Johnson. Survived by beloved wife of 48 years, Beverly (nee Harem); children, Ann (Greg) Goehner of Bloomington, Harlan (Colleen) Hermes of Prior Lake, Meriellen (Brian) Pisarek of Aitkin, Carol (Paul) Hauschild of Farmington; grandchildren, Garrett (Tiffany), Alyssa, Alonna, and Aliza Goehner, Shannon and Dianna Hermes, Jason and Travis Pisarek, Justin, Jacob, and Jordan Hauschild; sister-in-law, Bonnie Zimmerman of Hastings; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Wednesday 11 AM at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave S. Interment Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Burnsville. Visitation Tues 5-7 PM & 1 hr. prior to service.
