Ralph Richard Heaton

Heaton Ralph Richard "Rick"Heaton, age 61, passed away May 29 following surgery. He was preceded in death by parents Ruby Green and Ralph Heaton, and grandmother, Esther Pierson. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; step-mother, Helen Heaton; step-father, Bill Green; sons, Michael and Steven (Michelle) Heaton; grandson, Zachery Heaton, sisters, Valerie Birr, Jean Anderson-Reinhart, Joan Heaton Broderick, Nancy Heaton, Barb Baver; brother, Bill Heaton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Rick was born and raised in the Twin Cities Metro area, graduated from Fridley High School in 1960 and worked for the Star Tribune for many years. He then relocated to Baton Rouge, LA and for the last 8 years of his life worked for Pari Respiratory Equipment. A memorial service is being held on Sat. June 21st, 10 am at St. Philips Lutheran Church, 6180 Highway 65, Fridley, MN.
