Eileen (Jorgensen) Nienaber

Nienaber (Jorgensen) Eileen, age 80, of Bloomington, formerly of Minneapolis. Survived by her husband, Dr. William Nienaber; daughters, Ruth Grant (Don), Karen Mulkey (Chris), Susan Macpherson (Rick), and Mary Youngstrand (Fred); sister, Jean Kadlec; & 8 grandchildren. Eileen was blessed with many wonderful friends from South High School, her University of Minnesota Med Tech class, Bill's classmates and their spouses from Dental School, and the Dental Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who made everyone feel at home with her warmth, humor, and delicious cooking. Eileen was a hardworking volunteer in many organizations and believed that giving to others gave meaning to life. Eileen's family wishes to thank the wonderful nurses and aides of Station 53 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and the dedicated rehabilitation team at Walker Methodist. We deeply appreciate the comforting care of the entire staff at Sholom East in Eileen's final days. Funeral service Monday, June 16, 12 noon at the Werness Brothers Funeral Chapel, 3500 W. 50th Street, Mpls, with visitation one hour prior to service.
