Edith Evelyn Josie

Josie Edith Evelyn, born 6/19/31 in Coleraine, MN, passed away 6/10/03 in Grand Rapids, MN. Edith grew up in Grand Rapids and attended Central High School. She married Floyd Josie in 1951. Edith worked for Quest Communications for 30 years and retired in 1990. Preceded in death by her father, Pete Soring; husband, Floyd Josie; son, Leslie Josie; daughter, Leianna Southerling; granddaughter, Sarah Josie. She is survived by her mother, Lyda Soring of Grand Rapids; brother, Don (Helen) Soring of Cohassett, MN; son, Floyd Josie Jr. of Onamia, MN; daughter, Valerie Josie of Phoenix, AZ; son, Peter (Debbie) Josie of Zimmerman, MN; and 10 grandchildren. Graveside service on June 20, 2003 at 12:30 PM at Hazelwood Cemetery in Blackberry, MN, 6 mi. E. of Grand Rapids on Hwy. 2. No flowers, please. Coffee & lunch served after services at Edith's home.
