Neils Henry E. (Bob) Neils, 80, of Belgrade, MT, formerly of Wayzata, passed away April 20, 2002. He was born March 5, 1922 in Minneapolis, MN, graduated from Blake School in 1940, and received his B.S. from the University of Minnesota in 1947. During World War II he served in the Army Air Corps, after which he worked for the Flour City Ornamental Iron Company, of which he became president in 1960. In 1967 he became a realtor specializing in commercial and industrial properties, and when he moved to Montana in 1983 he worked as a commercial real estate appraiser until his retirement. He was an avid sportsman and rancher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. and Frieda Neils of Minneapolis. He is survived by his wife, Eva of Belgrade; sons, Relf of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Henry of Chanhassen, MN, and Mark of Henderson, MN; daughter, Jenifer of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Todd and Stacy of Minneapolis, and James H. McInerney IV of Cleveland, and two great-grandchildren, as well as his sisters, Mary McGee of Minneapolis, and Patricia Boulter of Cincinnati. A memorial service was held April 24 at the Springhill Community Church in Belgrade. Memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611-1676.
