Donald J. Ramsburg

Ramsburg Donald J., 85, of Aitkin, formerly of NE Mpls., died Friday, May 10, 2002 at Riverwood Health Care Center in Aitkin. He was born June 1, 1916 in Mpls. to Leon & Alphia (Davidson) Ramsburg. On August 28, 1949 Donald was united in marriage to Margaret Bailey in Iowa. He was a member of the Zuhrah Temple in Mpls., Masonic Lodge #213 of Aitkin and the Scottish Rite of Eau Claire. He was preceded in death by his parents. Donald is survived by loving wife of 52 years, Margaret; 2 sons, Michael (Gail) of Chaska, Jeffrey (Marilyn) of Coon Rapids; 6 daughters, Patti (John) Walsh of Coon Rapids, Terri (Mike) Missell of Isanti, Lorri (Dave) Marshall of Bettendorf, IA, Merri (Ben) Rainwater of Crosby, LeeAnn Ramsburg of Mpls., Janet Distel of Eden Prairie; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday 9:30 AM until the 11:00 AM memorial service at Sunset Memorial Park, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd., Mpls. Rev. Shawn Mai will officiate with Chuck Parsons assisting. Arrangements are by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin.
