Margaret R. Oliver

Oliver Margaret R., age 83, Sartell, MN, formerly of Robbinsdale, MN, died Saturday, May 11, 2002 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN. Margaret Oliver was born Sept. 1, 1918 in Erin Township, LeSueur Co., MN to John T. & Rose (Hagerty) McGillen. She married John D. Oliver on August 2, 1947 in Mpls, MN. Margaret was employed as a practical nurse in Rosemount, MN during the polio epidemic. She then owned and operated Oliver's Cafe in NE Mpls until 1961 when she became an independent caterer working out of the Knights of Columbus in Crystal, MN. Margaret was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart, Robbinsdale, MN, where she also was a member of the Sacred Heart Council of Catholic Women. Margaret is survived by daughters, Doris ``Kelly'' (Tom) Costello of St. Cloud, MN, Diane (Bill) McChesney of Robbinsdale, MN, Marianne (Joe) Conley of Maple Grove, MN; brother, Kevin (LuElla) McGillen of LeCenter, MN; sister, Phillis Brozak of Fridley, MN; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John in January 1988; two brothers, Gregory and Edward McGillen and a sister, Mary Jane McGillen. Funeral service Thursday, May 16, 2002, 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Robbinsdale, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church Thursday. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maple Grove, MN. Arr. by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
