Paris Lee Andrews Paris, age 87, of Excelsior, MN, passed away June 5, 2003 after a remarkable & independent life. A Rotarian since 1939, Lee was the oldest serving President of the Excelsior Club. After a successful career as a CPA, he retired and served his community in many ways. Was a weekly volunteer at Methodist Hospital since 1988 and was named Volunteer of the Year. Preceded in death by his wife, Alice A. (Wiley) Paris, and daughter, Candace Kay. Survived by daughters, Mary Lee Paris (John) Moe of Minnetrista and daughter, Penny Paris Rogers of Excelsior; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, the entire Rogers family, and many other relatives and friends, including his fellow Rotarians, Methodist volunteers, and friends at the Southside Community Center. His family meant the world to him and brought him great joy. Per his wishes, a public memorial service is not planned. Instead, friends and family are invited to celebrate his life, Tuesday, June 17, from 5-8 PM at Lafayette Country Club. Memorials preferred to the Excelsior Rotary Club.
