Hilda (Nuna) Maddox

Maddox Hilda (Nuna) Maddox, born January 1, 1911 to parents Sarah & Isaiah Bryant in Tampa, FL. The Lord took Hilda home on June 9, 2003. Hilda was preceded in death by husband, James H. Maddox; and sons, Richard and Rudolph Maddox. Hilda was a long-time member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she graciously served her God. She will be greatly missed by her children, Doris Maddox, Mildred Pope, Marie Anderson (James), Gloria Miller (Juan), Ivory Johnson (Thomas), Jacqueline Maddox, James H. Maddox, Jr. (Vera), Alfred Maddox (Beverly), Wendell Maddox (Julia), and Charles Maddox (Janet); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 12th from 6-8 PM at Werness Brothers, 3700 Nicollet Ave S, Mpls. Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 13th at 10 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3801 - 1st Ave S, Mpls. Rev. William Watson III officiating. Interment Fort Snelling Nat'l Cemetery.
