Helen Mae Vernette Gingold
Gingold Helen Mae Vernette Gingold (nee Swanson). Beloved wife, mother, grandmother. Age 89. Died peacefully on June 8, 2003 surrounded by her family at Lyngblomsten Care Center. A graduate of Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, she spent her life in service to her family, community, and church. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Archie; daughters, Sandra Iverson (Timon), Carla Feldhammer (George), Mimi Gingold (Al Gerhardstein); grandchildren, Kristen (Matthew), Jeffrey, Rebecca, Andrew, Carrie, Benjamin, Adam, and Jessica. Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends. Memorial service, Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at GLORIA DEI LUTHERAN CHURCH, 700 South Snelling Avenue. Reception to follow service. Memorials are preferred to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church for Global Missions/Outreach or HealthEast Foundation for the Bethesda Nurses Alumni History Center and Chapel.
