Adelmann Robert F. Adelmann, age 85, of Farmington. Bob was well known for his wit & humor. Though a successful businessman, he preferred to be known as a farmer, his true calling. President and founder, he referred to himself as "The Janitor" of Richfield Plumbing. A WWII veteran serving in the Seabees. A member of the K of C Marian Council #3827 50+ years and Msgr. Meagher 4th Degree Assembly. Also a member of the American Legion and VFW. Preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Carolyn Chrismer and Krista Jo Zwart. Survived by beloved wife of 57 years Lorraine; 10 children, daughters & sons-in-law, Bernie & Tom Chrismer, Jeanne & Ted Zwart, Mary & Dale Paulseth, Judy & Nathan Solinger, Linda & Jim Schiller, Sue & Scott Tinklenberg; sons & daughters-in-law, Dan & Mary, Dave & Betty Lou, Bobby & Anne, Paul & special friend Tina Savova; 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Florence Mahoney; 3 brothers, Leo, Charlie, and Ralph Adelmann. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Michael, 22120 Denmark Ave, Farmington (651-463-3360). Interment Wednesday 2:30 p.m. Assumption Cemetery Richfield. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave S. and 1 hour prior to Mass at Church. Vigil Prayers 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
