Bonczek Elizabeth L. Bonczek, died on June 04, 2003 at home with her daughter Kayleen E. Bonczek, her son Robert L. Bonczek, her granddaughter Leslie Benson and grandson Michal Bonczek and Lee Lundin at her side. Elizabeth had the support of many nieces and nephews and her dog Mistie. Elizabeth's husband Walter H. Bonczek preceded her in death. Elizabeth's many hobbies included cooking, quilting, growing African violets, walking, travel, Cribbage and Scrabble which she played until a week before she died. She was always active in her community and church. She sewed many quilts for bazaars, babies suffering from AIDS and for friends. Special thanks to Pastor Paul Tidemann, Father Joseph Kivel, Dr. Turcotte and Cindy at the Camden Clinic, Dr. Nance and the staff at Struthers Parkinson's Center, Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice staff including Sherii, Lynette, Michelle, Nancy, Barbara, Dave, Viola and special home care nurse Ruth Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 804 NE 2nd Street, Mpls. After the funeral, family and friends are invited to 3100 Chatsworth Avenue North in Roseville. Memorials in lieu of flowers to Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf, 100 North Oxford Street, St. Paul, MN 55104, or to Catholic Eldercare Main Street Lodge, 817 NE Main Street, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
