Survivors include his wife, Ardella; son, Rob Dowden & his fiancee Judy Tsatsos of Crystal; daughters & sons-in-law, Mindy & Willie Mayes of Robbinsdale, Deborah Dowden of Mpls, Jerri & Charlie Nelson of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Whitney, Keisha, & Willie Jerome Mayes of Robbinsdale; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kalkes & Vivalore Kalkes, both of Chaska. Visitation Thursday, 4- 7 pm at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 W. 3rd St., Chaska, with prayers at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:30 am at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 218 W. 2nd St., Chaska. Burial will follow at Guardian Angels Cemetery.
