Radtke Beatrice E. (Stuedemann), age 92, of New Hope, died Sunday, June 1st, 2003. Beatrice was born in New Auburn, Minnesota, and raised in Glencoe where she attended school and worked at the Commercial Hotel. Beatrice was a longtime resident of Minneapolis, where she was a member of St. Albert The Great Catholic Church, and the Altar Rosary Society. Beatrice retired in 1979 after working 25 years for St. Mary's Hospital in Minneapolis. Preceded in death by husband, George; parents, Gerhard and Emma; sisters, Selma (Bandemere), Magdalena (Warnke), Esther (Sullivan), Gertrude (Steckman), Margaret, and brother, Delford. Survived by children, Karen Vesovich, Thomas (Marlene), Shirley (Robert) Hames, and Dennis (Joan); by sister, Bernice Van Orden; by grandchildren, Debra (Dave) Gumbel, Cherie (Tim) Blegen, Dawn Vesovich, Monica Radtke, Rob (Lynnette) Hames, Cindy (Jesse) Chapple, and Kristin & Stephanie Radtke; and by great- grandchildren Katie and Kelly Blegen, Mathew, Nicholas and Daniel Gumbel, and Logan Hames. The Radtke family would like to thank the staff at St. Therese Nursing Home, and Hospice of the Twin Cities for the care and comfort they have provided to our mother. We will miss her dearly. Visitation Wednesday, June 4th, at Bradshaw Funeral Services, 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South from 4:00-7:00 PM, prayer service at 6:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 5th, 11:00 AM at St. Albert The Great Catholic Church, 2833-32nd Avenue South, Minneapolis. Visitation at the church one hour prior to mass service. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
